This has to do with digital audio and how it exists in an on or off state. I've already tried disabling and re-enabling the mute and the notifications multiple times, to no avail. Un mute the dry aux, drop the level of the uber compressed aux and fade in to a point where it sounds right for the song. Mute the dry aux and focus in on the compressed aux - squash it to absolute hell. One of the auxes I keep dry, and the other I compress HEAVILY. If I go to check them, they disappear though. I then create 2 auxes both with the same input (Bus 1+2). Please note: if youve run into issues in Softube Central that prevent you from installing/downloading your plug-ins, there are direct installers available here. I have the group muted and unchecked the notifications option, yet I still get notifications on my mobile phone.

Those were some good days! I have all my notes from the classes in a notebook in my studio.Hi, I realise this thread is quite old, but I have the same problem. I got 32C during one of their crazy sales, but sometimes wish I had stuck with regular Mixbus because of the lowlowlow upgrade train. I learned a lot, but as we all do, I became more myself over the years. He had a way of working that was unique, and repeatable. When he was mixing Thriller, everything came off the Mitsubishi in stereo and mostly were at unity gain.

I have a parallel fresh installation of Windows 10 on this same machine it used to run on that still will not work (dual boot). The one I worked on was at Entourage in North Hollywood, and it was in pretty rough shape and had seen better days. I've been using Mixbus on and off for several years. Since slower attack times preserve transients, they’re usually a better choice (especially on the mix bus). It's hard to get a bad Rhodes sound from Greg Phillinganes or horrible drums from Ricky Lawson!!! Hard to believe he loved that board so much! It may have been an exaggeration but HE DID PICK IT for his room in Florida, and I saw it in person at his ranch in Simi Valley. Budgets were unlimited and the players were the best in the world. He was at the absolute top of the food chain at the time. He also had a tendency to tell tall tales to interviewers and then laugh about it later. He seemed to have 4 of everything! Everything was the best. You have to set it up for the group in two places. And he had lots to choose from! He rented anything and everything he needed, usually from himself. The only slightly confusing part of this is that Maschine starts off all patterns of 16 pads with all pads going to their own MIDI track, not useful at all if you want to do this, so you have to set up the pattern track so sounds in a group all use MIDI notes instead of MIDI channels. When I took my UCLA class with Bruce in the late 80's, he was recording everything through Neves and API with his compressors and all of his microphones.
